I've shot and directed a music video. I made it using a super 8 camera. I put some of the footage in a jar of bleach after it was processed to see what would happen. It burns away the image and so some of it is flickery and blueish. I liked the effect. Anyway the entire thing can be watched on youtube. Try to watch it at as high a resoultion possible. It makes a difference. Here it is : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ucutfp…
Hope you like it, and please be as critical as you like in any feedback you leave. I know its a bit structureless as I didn't storyboard it out beforehand, but I'm still fairly pleased with it. The song can be downloaded here on itunes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ucutfp…
I've got a blog here now yo. padraigfagan.blogspot.com/

I just wanted to say that myself and my business partner Eimhinn Macnamara evomc.deviantart.com/ have been granted a frameworks. This is to say that the film board will be giving us money to make a short animated film from September onwards. We are both quite happy with this turn of events.
We have also come under the influence of a toaster by the name of Macka B. I havent heard much of his stuff but he has such integrity and self belief that he cannot be doubted. See him battle racism and the erosion of roots reggae music here.

Life in the West, is it stagnating? Let us examine this question with reference to the general imbalance which exists within us all. A collegue of mine allowed me to experiment upon him using a spirit level. He allowed me to insert it into his right nostril at a 45degree angle. Then using a complex system of ropes and pulleys we held him aloof until the spirit level was at a 180 degree angle. Alas the spirit level showed no sign of being level. Was this because the spirit of my collegue was weak? We tried to remedy this situation by dipping him into a large tub of colgate peppermint mouthwash, while a troupe of motorcycling men with beards gave praise in verse to St. Steven of Scaffold Street. ( The patron saint of spirit levels.) Our efforts were in vain and the motorcycle gang stole all our gear, and our laboratory. They took us captive and then let us go on a dusty road in WestMeath. And so began our adventure. We wandered through the barrage of mirages and cactai, looking for a shop that would sell us cornettos. I told my companion that things would be alright , but he wouldn't believe me. Apparently, the motorcyle gang's procedure to remove the spirit level from his nose(they kicked him in the face) had left him with a broken spirit.

I find myself very happy as of yesterday when I recieved a new scarf as a present from my mam. Scarves have always been very important to me as I have a very long neck and they help to hide it. I lost a great scarf last year while out in Eamonn Dorans in town. It was perhaps the best scarf ever as it was of an auburn complexion and thus went with me hair. Those of you in my inner circle will remember it well. I'm happy to announce that the new scarf is even better than the old one. It's also appropriately coloured and has Indian type designs on it. I havent shaved in a few days so I've been wearing it and listening to Rolling stones records whilst at the same time pretending to be Keith Richards. ( As I have seen photographs of him wearing similar scarves.) I'm considering taking up smoking and have been studying the  relevant diagrams online. All in all then, its been a sucessful Christmas.
